Driver Services self-service kiosks at several Middle Tennessee locations will close on Monday, November 25, for equipment upgrades. The Department of Safety and Homeland Security will be installing new kiosks at the City of Hendersonville, Lavergne Public Library, Metro Center, and the county clerk offices in Hickman, Houston, Macon, and Smith counties.
The kiosks at the Hickman County Clerk (114 N. Central Ave. Suite 204, Centerville) and Houston County Clerk (4725 East Main St., Erin) will reopen on Wednesday, December 4. The City of Hendersonville (101 Maple Drive North, Hendersonville) and Macon County Clerk (104 County Courthouse, Lafayette) will resume operations on Thursday, December 5, along with the Smith County Clerk (122 Turner High Circle #104, Carthage).
On Friday, December 6, the kiosks at Metro Center (220 French Landing Drive, Nashville) and Lavergne Public Library (5063 Murfreesboro Road, La Vergne) will reopen.
These new self-service kiosks provide convenient options for completing various Driver Services transactions. Services include renewing or replacing a duplicate Driver License or ID Card, changing an address, updating emergency contact information, advancing a Teen/Graduated Driver License, paying reinstatement fees, and requesting a license reissue after meeting reinstatement requirements. Additionally, the kiosks are equipped to take photos and process payments using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit/debit cards.
