Memphis Driver Services Kiosks to Close for Upgrades

Memphis self-service kiosks will be upgraded and reopened by December 4, 2024.

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security (TDOSHS) has announced that the self-service kiosks for Driver Services at three Memphis Police Department locations will undergo equipment upgrades. These kiosks, located at the Appling Farms Station, Tillman Station, and Mt. Moriah Station, will temporarily close on Monday, November 25, and are scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

The upgraded kiosks will provide enhanced services, allowing users to complete various Driver Services transactions. These include renewing or replacing a Driver License or ID Card, changing an address, updating emergency contact information, advancing a Teen/Graduated Driver License, paying reinstatement fees, and requesting a license reissue after meeting reinstatement requirements. The new kiosks will also feature photo capabilities and will accept payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit/debit cards.
