Man Arrested for Hidden Camera Recordings

A man faces charges after secret recordings of four women were discovered.

Matthew Vollmer, a 31-year-old resident of Nashville, has been charged with eight counts of unlawful photography involving four female victims, whose ages range from 26 to 33. The investigation by the Special Victims Division began in April after a woman, who was in a dating relationship with Vollmer, reported that she had discovered a file folder on his computer containing videos of them engaging in sexual activity. The woman had access to his computer passcode while he was away, and upon reviewing the contents, she found the videos. She also discovered a hidden camera disguised as an alarm clock, which had been used to record her without her consent. Further investigation led to charges relating to three additional victims. Vollmer is currently free on a $40,000 bond, and the investigation is ongoing.
