Loudon High Senior Receives Sportsmanship Award

Noah Brewer honored with NFHS Award for exemplary sportsmanship and leadership.

Loudon High School senior Noah Brewer has been awarded the NFHS Student-Athlete Award of Excellence in recognition of his outstanding sportsmanship and leadership. This prestigious award is presented by the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) and the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Brewer’s commendation comes after he took charge during his coach’s absence due to a faculty meeting. Without being prompted, he organized his cross country team, prepared water bottles, and provided water breaks as he followed them on their route. His proactive approach ensured that the team did not miss a day of practice and highlighted his dedication to his peers and the program.

Brewer is a versatile athlete involved in Track, Cross Country, and the NJROTC. He is regarded by his coach and teammates as a positive role model who consistently supports others’ achievements, often attending academic ceremonies for teammates while excelling in his own activities. Additionally, Brewer is active in various extracurricular organizations, including the Key Club and Rotary, reflecting his commitment to service and leadership beyond sports.

Noah Brewer’s exemplary actions illustrate that leadership involves taking initiative and doing what is right. His selflessness serves as inspiration for students and athletes at Loudon High School and beyond. His story is a reminder that sportsmanship is as crucial as the games themselves, as it forms the foundation of lasting character.
