Shakia Davidson, a 22-year-old suspect wanted for a homicide, was apprehended in Chattanooga. The arrest was made in connection with the fatal shooting of Dorothy Stephenson on September 8. The incident occurred on Green Street following an argument over a man both women were reportedly dating. Stephenson was shot in the head and died at the scene. A criminal homicide warrant was issued for Davidson that same night, but she initially evaded capture. Acting on information provided by the Nashville Metro Police Department, Chattanooga police successfully took Davidson into custody. Arrangements are being made to return Davidson to Nashville to face charges.
