Girls Inc. of Chattanooga Expands Services

Girls Inc. of Chattanooga expands to enhance community support and resources.

Girls Inc. of Chattanooga is pleased to announce the expansion of its services, aimed at better supporting its mission to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The organization will maintain its operations in Suite 110, while Suite 100 will now house the Family Resource Closet. This newly designated space will include a boutique, an essential initiative providing daily necessities to participants, ensuring they have the resources needed for success in school and at home.

Eligible families with a Girls Inc. participant can access the Family Resource Closet. Family Resource Coordinator Aaliyah Parrish will offer monthly workshops and develop an ongoing directory with other community services to meet the needs of families.

Community members are encouraged to contribute by donating items for the closet, volunteering as guest speakers for workshops, or making financial contributions. A ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, November 7th, at 5:30 p.m. Supporters, partners, and the community are invited to join the event. More details will be available on the organization’s social media platforms.

Girls Inc. of Chattanooga remains committed to empowering girls and young women in the community, and looks forward to providing increased support with the additional space and resources.
