Fatal Accident on Clarksville Highway Claims Life

A single-vehicle crash on Clarksville Highway resulted in the death of Skylar Scott.

A tragic accident occurred on Saturday evening at 8:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of Clarksville Highway, resulting in the death of Skylar Scott, a 32-year-old resident of Whites Creek. Preliminary investigations reveal that Scott was driving a Nissan Murano northbound on Clarksville Highway when she lost control of the vehicle. The SUV veered off the roadway and struck an embankment, causing it to overturn several times. Unfortunately, Scott was ejected from the vehicle.

Her passenger, who did not sustain serious injuries, reported that he had advised Scott to reduce her speed before the crash. Following the accident, Scott was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.

Authorities have indicated that toxicology tests will be conducted to ascertain whether impairment played a role in the accident. It was noted that neither Scott nor her passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
