Youth Basketball Registration Opens October 1

Youth basketball league registration for children 5-17 opens on October 1.

Murfreesboro’s Youth Basketball League, renowned for being one of the largest youth programs in the area, is opening its registration for children aged 5 to 17. The league is dedicated to developing fundamental basketball skills and promoting healthy competition among participants.

Registration for both players and coaches will be open from October 1 through October 31. The cost for participation is $75.00, which includes a mandatory $10 activity fee. This fee applies to all participants, including those receiving financial assistance or scholarships.

Teams will have practice sessions once a week in December, and starting in January, they will play one game per week at various locations throughout Murfreesboro.

Individuals interested in coaching are encouraged to fill out a coach’s form and submit it at any of the sign-up locations. The Coach’s Form can be found here: Youth Basketball Coach’s Form.

Pumpkin Fun Run at Gateway Island

The Pumpkin One Mile Fun Run invites participants to run with a pumpkin on October 26 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Gateway Island Rotunda, Murfreesboro, with an entry fee of a canned good or non-perishable item to be donated to Greenhouse Ministries. More information can be found here.
