Murfreesboro’s Youth Basketball League is launching its registration for the upcoming season on October 1. This program, one of the largest in the area, caters to children aged 5 to 17, focusing on fundamental skill development and fostering healthy competition.
The registration period for both participants and coaches runs from October 1 to October 31. The cost to join is $75.00, which includes a mandatory $10 activity fee applicable to all participants, including those receiving financial assistance or scholarships. Teams will have practice sessions once a week starting in December, and games will be held weekly beginning in January at various locations around Murfreesboro.

Pumpkin Fun Run at Gateway Island
The Pumpkin One Mile Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 26, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Gateway Island Rotunda in Murfreesboro, requiring participants to bring a canned good or non-perishable item as their entry fee, which will be donated to Greenhouse Ministries.
