JACKSON, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced upcoming road construction on Interstate 40, which will affect traffic in Henderson and Madison Counties. Contract crews will begin resurfacing activities next week, resulting in lane closures during specific times.
The scheduled lane closures will occur daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time, from October 28 to November 1, contingent on weather conditions. On Monday, October 28, both eastbound and westbound lanes at mile marker 98.2 in Henderson County will have closures. On Tuesday, October 29, the eastbound lane at mile marker 98.1 in Henderson County and the westbound lane at mile marker 87.5 in Madison County will be affected.
