Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division apprehended two men from West Tennessee at a Linbar Drive gas station in Nashville. The individuals, identified as Demetris Williams, aged 31, and Jaylan Johnson, aged 22, were found with a significant quantity of narcotics and two loaded firearms in their vehicle, a white Honda Accord.
The arrest occurred after the men were observed conducting drug transactions in the parking lot. The recovered firearms included a Shark custom AR-15 and a Taurus pistol. In addition to the weapons, the authorities seized a large amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA, and pills that tested positive for fentanyl, along with other paraphernalia.
Both Williams and Johnson face multiple charges related to gun and drug possession. Johnson also faces an additional charge of criminal impersonation for providing a false name and birth date to detectives. Williams is being held on a $101,000 bond, while Johnson’s bond is set at $102,000.

Fatal Shooting in Antioch Tied to Marijuana Sale
