Tullahoma Driver Services Center Temporarily Closes for Upgrades

Tullahoma Driver Services Center to close on Oct. 31 for equipment upgrades.

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security has announced the temporary closure of the Tullahoma Driver Services Center located at 307 Industrial Blvd. The center will be closed on Thursday, October 31, for the installation of new credentialing equipment, as well as new self-service kiosks. It will resume operations on Friday, November 1.

In addition to the Tullahoma center, several other Driver Services Centers in Knoxville and partner locations at County Clerks’ offices in Anderson, Campbell, Carter, Knox, Loudon, Scott, and Union will also be closed next week for similar equipment upgrades.

The newly installed self-service kiosks are intended to streamline various Driver Services transactions. These kiosks will allow customers to renew or replace Driver Licenses or ID Cards, change their address, update emergency contact details, advance a Teen or Graduated Driver License, pay reinstatement fees, and request a license reissue once reinstatement requirements are fulfilled. The kiosks are equipped to take photos and accept payments through Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit and debit cards.

Further information about Tennessee Driver Services, including the new self-service kiosks, can be found by visiting the official website at tn.gov/safety/driver-services.html.
