The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) is pleased to announce Halie Tunks as its new Administrative Specialist. A Watertown native and graduate of Watertown High School, Halie holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cumberland University.
Her background includes experience in university financial aid, a municipal internship with the City of Watertown, and entrepreneurial pursuits. She also demonstrates a commitment to her community through longstanding volunteer work with the Watertown Sports League.
“We are confident that Halie’s skills and dedication will be a valuable asset to the TSSAA,” stated Mark Reeves, Executive Director of TSSAA. “Her diverse experience and commitment to service align perfectly with the needs of our organization.”
In her capacity as Administrative Specialist, Halie will provide comprehensive administrative support across multiple departments. Her responsibilities will encompass mail processing, financial assistance, support for officials’ registration, membership processing, and general office management.
“I am excited to join the TSSAA and contribute to an organization that is so important in the lives of students across Tennessee,” said Tunks. “I look forward to the challenges and opportunities this position presents.”
