The Tennessee Whiskey Trail has announced its new holiday program, Carols & Barrels, which will feature holiday-themed decorations, drinks, and entertainment at participating distilleries and tasting rooms in Middle Tennessee. Beginning on November 11, visitors can enjoy the festive spirit at ten different locations.
Participating distilleries and their themes include Big Machine Brewery & Distillery with “Christmas Vacation,” Big Machine Distillery & Tavern as Candyland, and Cascade Hollow, Home of George Dickel, with “Holidays in the Hollow.” Other locations include Chattanooga Whiskey at Assembly Food Hall, Jack Daniel’s at the Omni Nashville Hotel, George Dickel at Pullman Standard, Leiper’s Fork Distillery, Nashville Barrel Co., Nearest Green Distillery at Humble Barron, Peg Leg Porker Spirits Tasting Room, Stable Reserve, and Standard Proof Whiskey. Each distillery will offer specialty cocktails like the peppermint white chocolate espresso martini from Standard Proof Whiskey, and unique drinks such as the “Cousin Eddie” bourbon custard from Stable Reserve.
The holiday pop-ups will be available from November 11, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Visitors can check the operating days and hours of each participating location. Additionally, attendees can participate in a digital passport program that offers spirited prizes for visiting multiple locations.
Charity Toombs, the executive director of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, expressed that Carols & Barrels aims to promote Tennessee’s distilling industry and enhance consumer awareness. She added that the event encourages people to explore the trail and enjoy a variety of Tennessee spirits.
