Suspect Arrested After Fatal Shooting on Gallatin Pike

A suspect is in custody after a fatal shooting in Madison, Nashville.

A 29-year-old man, Juan Ramirez-Guerra, has been arrested following the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Edin Delacruz-Reyes. The incident occurred behind a business on Gallatin Pike South in Madison. According to homicide unit detectives, Ramirez-Guerra was identified as the suspect involved in the shooting. He was apprehended by Specialized Investigations Division detectives on Pillow Street.

The incident reportedly took place when Reyes and Ramirez-Guerra, along with others, were gathered in a parking lot. Subsequently, Reyes and Ramirez-Guerra walked a short distance away from the group, after which multiple gunshots were heard. Reyes was transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he later died.

Ramirez-Guerra has been charged with criminal homicide and is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.
