A 16-year-old was arrested for having a loaded gun at Pearl Cohn High School.

A 16-year-old student at Pearl Cohn High School was arrested after school officials discovered a loaded handgun in his backpack. The incident took place in the morning, leading to the involvement of School Resource Officers who subsequently took the 11th grader into custody. The student now faces charges in Juvenile Court for possession of a weapon on school property.
