Construction and repair works in West Tennessee are set to bring both daytime and nighttime lane closures across various counties from October 23-30, 2024. These closures are necessary for ongoing maintenance and improvement projects on key routes.
In Benton County, resurfacing work on I-40 from S.R. 69 to the Tennessee River Bridge will require nighttime lane closures, with potential intermittent ramp closures. Similarly, SR 391 will see temporary lane closures as resurfacing is underway.
Carroll County’s SR-76 (US-79) project involves grading, drainage, and paving, necessitating lane closures. Meadowbrook Lane will remain closed with a detour provided. Intersection improvements on SR 22 at the Huntingdon Industrial Park will also cause lane closures.
In Dyer County, bridge repairs on US 412 (SR 20) and inspection work on SR-211 will lead to temporary lane closures. Resurfacing on I-155 will also require lane closures.
Gibson and Carroll counties will experience temporary lane closures on SR-76 (US-79) due to construction and drainage work. In Henry and Weakley counties, SR-22 resurfacing will cause temporary lane closures.
Obion County will face lane closures on SR22 due to resurfacing and bridge repair work. In Chester County, southbound U.S. 45 (SR 5) will have lane closures for bridge repairs.
Crockett and Gibson counties will see resurfacing work on SR 152, while Decatur County’s SR 69 will have similar work causing lane closures. In Hardin County, resurfacing on SR 69 and bridge rehabilitation on SR 128 over Pickwick Dam will result in lane closures.
Madison County will experience rolling roadblocks and lane closures on I-40, along with temporary closures on SR186 (US45 Bypass) and US70 for resurfacing and traffic management work. Fayette County will have SR-222 closed for construction, with detours in place.
Lauderdale County will see lane closures on US-51 and SR-19 for resurfacing. In Shelby County, several major routes including SR-3, SR-175, and SR-14 will undergo nighttime lane closures for widening and repair work.
