Authorities have recovered a red Nissan Sentra believed to be involved in a fatal crash on Nolensville Pike, following a tip received by Crime Stoppers. The vehicle was located at a residence on Radnor Street. The crash, which occurred last Saturday evening, tragically claimed the life of 10-year-old Emily Sanchez-Ramirez and critically injured her mother, Laura Ramirez-Gonzalez, who remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are currently looking to question Daneri Varela, who is connected to the incident. Varela is described as a native of Honduras, and his current whereabouts are unknown. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Varela’s location to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

Emily Sanchez-Ramirez succumbed to her injuries on Sunday at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Her mother continues to receive treatment at Vanderbilt Hospital. The incident occurred as the mother and daughter were riding an electric scooter in the bike lane at the time of the crash.
