Nashville – On October 30, 2024, Luke Combs, a two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year, will be honored on the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., as announced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. Combs joins a distinguished group of inductees, including the late Jimmy Buffett, the Fairfield Four, Colin Reed, and Bill Cody. Combs’s induction was revealed during the Luke Combs Bootleggers Bonfire festival in Florida, surprising him with an on-stage announcement and video.
Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, praised Combs for his impressive career and connection with fans, emphasizing the significance of his induction. The public is invited to attend the ceremony, which coincides with the Grand Ole Opry’s centennial celebrations. Buffett, who passed away on September 1, 2023, will be inducted posthumously.
The ceremony will mark the addition of the 105th to 109th stars on the Walk of Fame, which honors those who have made significant contributions to Nashville’s musical heritage. Former Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, Larry Gatlin, Mac McAnally, and Shannon Sanders will induct the honorees.
Luke Combs, a multi-platinum artist, released his album “Fathers & Sons” earlier this year and is nominated for three awards at the upcoming CMA Awards. The Music City Walk of Fame, established in 2006, is part of Nashville’s Music Mile and celebrates the city’s rich musical history.
