NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 14, 2024) – Category 10, a new entertainment complex inspired by country music artist Luke Combs, is set to open on November 2, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. The venue is owned and operated by Opry Entertainment Group and promises a full day of events during its opening celebration, including live music, line dancing, and culinary offerings inspired by Combs’ Carolina roots.
The complex features four distinct indoor entertainment areas: the two-story Honky-Tonk, Hurricane Hall, The Still, and the 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar. Guests can enjoy a seamless experience by moving between these spaces without needing to close their tabs.
Live music will begin at 11:00 a.m., featuring performances from artists such as Brother Maven, Paige Rosen, Miller Holler, and DJ John Price. Hurricane Hall will showcase a unique light feature called “The Light Show,” enhancing the live music experience. Additionally, there will be line dancing and new dance performances.
The culinary offerings include scratch-made dishes like the “Carolina Coast Blue Crab Cake” and “Smoky Mountain Chicken Sandwich,” along with signature cocktails like “Beautiful Crazy Sangria” and “Ain’t No Love,” served in collectible glassware. The venue will also offer exclusive merchandise from its retail store.
Category 10 is divided into five themed experiences:
1. The Honky-Tonk: A two-story area with two bars, a retail shop, and a main stage for live music.
2. Hurricane Hall: The largest dance floor and stage in downtown Nashville, equipped for line dancing and concert events with a capacity of up to 1,500 guests.
3. The Still: An intimate lounge with a selection of bourbon curated by Luke Combs.
4. 5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar: A sports bar with large screens for viewing major sports events year-round.
5. The Eye: Opening in early 2025, this rooftop deck will offer views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium.
