Homicide Unit detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred at a Halloween party on Terragon Trail early Sunday morning. The incident, which took place at approximately 1:15 a.m., has left Joshua Burns, a 29-year-old resident of Booker Street, in extremely critical condition.
Burns suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was initially transported by a private vehicle to Southern Hills Medical Center. He was later transferred to Skyline Medical Center, where he continues to receive treatment for life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary findings suggest that shots were fired at the party, causing attendees to seek cover. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident, or who was present at the party, to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers have the option to remain anonymous and may be eligible for a $5,000 cash reward in relation to homicide cases.

Nashville Police Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspect
Nashville detectives are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at Swett’s Market. The suspect, who is about 6 feet 2 inches tall, committed the robbery at gunpoint and fled with cash. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department has released surveillance images and is urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.
