The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee, is set to commemorate Veterans Day by offering free admission to active-duty and retired armed services members and their families on Monday, November 11. The museum will extend this gesture to include up to three immediate family members of these military personnel. Visitors will also have the chance to express gratitude to military members by creating postcards for active-duty troops between 10 a.m. and noon at the museum’s Taylor Swift Education Center. The postcards will be sent to troops overseas through A Million Thanks, a nonprofit organization supporting military members.
The museum recognizes the contributions of country music stars who served in the U.S. military, including Hall of Fame members like Johnny Cash, George Jones, Willie Nelson, and Elvis Presley.
To secure a timed admission, visitors can reserve tickets by calling 615-416-2001 or by visiting the museum’s box office on November 11. A valid military ID is required to claim tickets, and due to limited capacity, advance reservations are recommended. Additionally, military members will receive a 10% discount at the Museum Store and the Hatch Show Print retail store on Veterans Day.
It should be noted that the free admission offer is exclusive to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Tours of Hatch Show Print and Historic RCA Studio B are available for a fee, subject to availability.
For further information on tickets, visit the [Country Music Hall of Fame website](https://www.countrymusichalloffame.org) or call (615) 416-2001. The museum is managed by the Country Music Foundation, which has been dedicated to preserving the history of country music since 1964. It is one of the most-visited history museums in the United States, accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.
