Arrest Warrant Issued for Malik Turrentine in Nashville Murder

Malik Turrentine is wanted for the fatal shooting of Michael Harvell in Nashville.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Malik Turrentine, 19, who is wanted for the criminal homicide of Michael Harvell, 44. The incident occurred outside a facility operated by 4:13 Strong, a residential program for men located at 1276 Foster Avenue in Nashville. Turrentine is considered armed and dangerous, and authorities are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

The investigation into the incident reveals that a conflict among residents at the program’s facility took place on Saturday. During this altercation, Harvell’s stepson was reportedly assaulted. Following the incident, Harvell and his wife removed their son from the property. They returned the following day, Sunday night, for a meeting with program staff and residents. During this meeting, another confrontation ensued, leading to Harvell being fatally shot by Turrentine.

Turrentine is currently on probation due to a previous arrest in February related to drug and gun charges. His participation in the 4:13 Strong program was mandated by the court.
