Arrest Made in Nashville Apartment Complex Murder

A Nashville man has been arrested for a murder committed in April.

A man from Nashville, Brian Connard, Jr., aged 22, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Vidal T. York, 23, that occurred on April 12 at The Cascades apartment complex located at 3300 Murfreesboro Pike. The arrest was made by detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division TITANS team.

The investigation, led by Homicide Unit Detective Phil Klarer, identified Connard as a suspect in the case. Connard was apprehended while riding in a vehicle that was parked on Hermitage Avenue. During the arrest, officers found three guns inside the vehicle, one of which was reported stolen.

A Criminal Court judge has set Connard’s bond at $100,000. Further legal proceedings are anticipated as the case continues to unfold.
