Whites Creek High School Student Faces Charges for Threat

A student at Whites Creek High School has been charged with making a threat of mass violence.

An 11th-grade student from Whites Creek High School has been charged with making a threat of mass violence. The student reportedly told school administrators that he intended to “blow the school up.” The incident prompted quick action from School Resource Officers, who notified the Rapid School Safety Team. The team then transported the student to Juvenile Court.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) emphasizes that threats against schools, special events, and businesses are taken very seriously. Individuals responsible for such threats, once identified, will face prosecution.
