The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced that various locations in Region 4 will have daytime or nighttime lane closures from September 11-18, 2024, due to ongoing repairs and new installations. **Benton County:**
– **I-40:** Nighttime lane closures for resurfacing from S.R. 69 (MM 126) to the Humphreys County line. Intermittent ramp closures are expected.
– **SR 391:** Temporary lane closures for resurfacing from US 70W (SR 1, LM 0.00) to US 70E (SR 1 LM 5.31).
**Carroll County:**
– **SR-76 (US-79):** Lane closures for grading, drainage, noise walls, signals, and paving from near S.R. 77 to near Cutlip Lane.
– **Meadowbrook Lane:** Closed starting September 16, with a detour provided.
**Dyer County:**
– **SR-20:** Temporary lane closures for bridge repair on US 412 (SR 20) over the North Fork Forked Deer River with a 12’ lane restriction and a 5’ shoulder.

– **SR22:** Temporary lane closures for resurfacing from SR5 to SR21, including bridge joint repair.

**Gibson and Crockett County:**
– **SR 152:** Temporary lane closures for resurfacing from US 412 (SR 20) to US 70A (SR 366).
**Hardin County:**
– **SR 128 over Pickwick Dam:** Temporary lane closures for bridge rehabilitation.
**Haywood County:**
– **I-40:** Nightly lane closures for resurfacing from MM 60 to 67 from September 11-18, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.
**Madison County:**
– **I-40 Exit 85 Interchange and Christmasville Rd.:** Possible shoulder closures for geotechnical work starting September 9.
**District 49:**
**Fayette County:**
– **SR-222:** Temporary lane closures for grading, drainage, signals, and paving from Hebron Drive to near Thorpe Drive.

– **US-51 (SR-3):** Temporary lane closures for resurfacing from SR-88 to the Dyer County Line and from the Tipton County Line to SR-19.

Rockwood Driver Services Center Remodel
The Rockwood Driver Services Center at 1070 North Gateway Ave. will close for remodeling from September 11 until November. During this time, citizens can use nearby Driver Services Centers, County Clerk’s Offices, Self-Service Kiosks, or online services for their needs. Teenagers aged 15 to 17 can take the knowledge test online under parental supervision via the Tennessee Proctor Identification app. More information is available on the Tennessee government website.
