Fatal Accident on I-40 Involving BMW and Semi-Truck
A 44-year-old man from Mt. Juliet driving a BMW S35I died after colliding with a semi-truck on I-40 West near Fesslers Lane at 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Preliminary investigations suggest that the semi-truck had slowed down with traffic when the BMW crashed into its rear, going completely under the trailer. Efforts are being made to notify the driver’s family, and there were no signs of impairment from either driver involved in the incident.
