The Youth Services Division detectives in Nashville have arrested three men in connection with the trafficking of a 13-year-old girl from Kentucky. The girl, who ran away from her home in Oak Grove on Christmas Eve and was found in the Cayce Homes neighborhood on January 9, has led investigators to make these arrests.
Octavius Stepheny, 31, was arrested and charged based on a grand jury indictment for trafficking for a commercial sex act. He is currently held on a $100,000 bond.
Kemar Robinson, 32, was initially arrested on January 2 on an outstanding sexual battery charge in Sumner County. He was later transferred to Davidson County on March 1, where he faces multiple charges including rape, aggravated statutory rape, and especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Robinson is being held on an $85,000 bond.
Corey Chambers, 47, was arrested on August 29 for aggravated statutory rape as per a grand jury indictment. He remains in custody on a $75,000 bond.
The lead detective, Christopher Beery, believes that others might have been involved with the victim during her two weeks in Nashville. The detectives are seeking public assistance in locating Wilbert Pollard, 26, who is wanted for questioning as he may have direct knowledge of others who had contact with the girl.
Anyone with information on Pollard’s whereabouts is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
