Dashawn Davenport, aged 31, has been arrested and charged with five counts of attempted homicide and five counts of reckless endangerment following a shooting incident outside Sky Bar and Lounge located at 825 Hamilton Crossings Boulevard. The shooting occurred on Labor Day at around 3 a.m., resulting in injuries to five individuals from Murfreesboro, with one person critically wounded. Davenport was taken into custody on Monday night.
The suspect was identified through surveillance footage which showed a man with long dreadlocks entering a silver Jeep in the parking lot. The footage also captured a muzzle flash emanating from the front driver window of the Jeep. The shooting took place as patrons were leaving the bar following a music performance.

In April 2023, Davenport was arrested and charged with felony weapon possession, evading arrest, and drug possession. He was convicted of misdemeanor evading arrest and received a probated sentence in May 2024. Davenport has prior convictions for illegal drug and gun possession.
Davenport is currently being held on a $600,000 bond.

Felon Arrested for Violent Crimes on Houseboat
Tyree Watson, a 42-year-old convicted felon, was arrested on charges of aggravated rape, kidnapping, and assault after an incident on his houseboat at Four Corners Marina, where he allegedly attacked a woman who later escaped and sought help.
