NDOT to Open Nashville’s First Traffic Management Center

NDOT will open Nashville's first Traffic Management Center to manage traffic signals and monitor regional traffic data.

The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) is set to unveil the city’s first Traffic Management Center (TMC). This initiative is part of Metro Nashville’s transportation priorities and will focus on traffic signal management and synchronization. Additionally, the TMC will serve as a central hub for regional traffic and crash data for Nashville and Davidson County.

The launch event will feature a tour of the Traffic Management Center, showcasing its traffic management and monitoring technologies. NDOT leadership and Mayor Freddie O’Connell will also deliver messages during the event.
