Nashville’s Big Bash to Feature Kane Brown and Jelly Roll

Kane Brown and Jelly Roll to headline Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Live event.

NASHVILLE – Nashville’s Jack Daniel’s New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park will feature award-winning artists Kane Brown and Jelly Roll as headliners. The concert is free and open to the public, with both artists performing during the five-hour CBS broadcast, which will include performances across multiple time zones, live from Music City. The event will air live on CBS on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. CT and 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. CT, and will also stream on Paramount+.

This year, Nashville’s Big Bash will introduce a dedicated Sober Space for the recovery community, ensuring a welcoming environment for those in recovery from addiction and alcoholism. Additionally, the event is partnering with MVAN (Music Venue Alliance Nashville) to support the city’s independent venues through their Emergency Relief Fund.

“We are committed to making Nashville’s Big Bash not only an unforgettable night of great music but also one that supports our community in meaningful ways,” said Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. She emphasized the importance of inclusive spaces and support for local music venues.

Sober Space will be located on the south side of the event site, near the Celebrate Responsibly tent hosted by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office. The space is in partnership with Cumberland Heights and aims to foster fellowship and connection among those in recovery.

MVAN’s Emergency Relief Fund helps Nashville’s independent venues during financial crises. One dollar from each official event t-shirt sold will go to this fund. Additionally, proceeds from Project 615’s “Tip the Band” merchandise will support the fund. Donations can be made at mvan.org.

The event also includes safety initiatives such as Safe Bar, which trains bar and security staff in bystander intervention, and Red Frogs, volunteers who provide water, phone charging stations, and ensure the safety of attendees.

Sustainability efforts at the event include recycling programs, biodegradable food containers, and composting. Biodegradable confetti will be used during the midnight celebration.

Nashville’s Big Bash, now in its 16th year and eighth at Bicentennial Park, will feature the iconic red Music Note drop at midnight. The event attracts over 200,000 attendees and generates significant visitor spending. Additional artist performances will be announced in the coming weeks.

The television special is produced by Robert Deaton and Mary Hilliard Harrington in partnership with Music City Inc. and directed by Sandra Restrepo. The live event is presented by Jack Daniel’s and supported by several partners, including Advance Financial and Tennessee State Parks.
