The Nashville Community Resource Center (CRC) is inviting the public to its Fall Employment & Resource Fair on Thursday, September 26, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event is designed to connect individuals currently on community supervision, formerly incarcerated, or anyone seeking assistance with employers and local resources.
At the fair, attendees will have access to a variety of services. These include free legal services via the Justice Bus, housing assistance, driver’s license reinstatement consultations, and fresh, nutritious food provided by the Second Harvest Mobile Market. Additionally, the CRC’s network of second chance employers—employers who hire individuals with a criminal record—will be present to discuss open positions with applicants.
“We’re opening this event up to the public because when our community is healthy, the people we serve have a better chance at success,” said Travis Davis, Director of the Nashville CRC.
