The Murfreesboro Water Resources Department (MWRD) is set to move from its current location on Northwest Broad Street, where it has operated for nearly 50 years. The new address will be 316 Robert Rose Drive, situated behind Home Depot off Old Fort Parkway/Hwy 96. Although an exact move date has not been established, the transition is expected to take place in November.
The relocation to Robert Rose Drive will consolidate the department’s various divisions, including Administrative, Engineering, Customer Service, Finance, and Stormwater, under one roof. This new site will also provide additional customer parking and feature a convenient second entrance off the new Gateway Blvd.
Until the move is finalized, MWRD will continue to operate at the Northwest Broad Street location from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The department will keep the public informed once the move date is confirmed.
