MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – (September 25, 2024) The motorcyclist who died in a collision on Broad Street over the weekend has been identified as Michael Jenkins, 69, of La Vergne. The incident occurred early Saturday morning, September 21, at approximately 1:46 a.m.
Jenkins was riding his 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Broad Street when it collided with a 2018 Toyota Rav4. Preliminary investigations indicate that the SUV, attempting to make a left turn onto Singer Road, failed to yield the right of way to Jenkins’ motorcycle.
