Several Driver Services locations in Middle Tennessee will close for a one-day installation of new credentialing equipment and self-service kiosks during the third week of September. The closures, announced by the Department of Safety and Homeland Security, aim to enhance service efficiency.

– Closed: Monday, Sept. 16
– Reopen: Tuesday, Sept. 17
– **Murfreesboro Driver Services and Reinstatement Center** (1035 Samsonite Blvd.)
– Closed: Tuesday, Sept. 17
– Reopen: Wednesday, Sept. 18
– **Murfreesboro Express Service Center** (3906 Blaze Drive)
– Closed: Thursday, Sept. 19
– Reopen: Friday, Sept. 20
– **Gallatin Driver Services and Reinstatement Center** (855 North Bluejay Way)
– Closed: Thursday, Sept. 19
– Reopen: Friday, Sept. 20
– **Springfield Driver Services Center** (4676 Highway 41 North, Suite C)
– Closed: Friday, Sept. 20
– Reopen: Monday, Sept. 23
Additionally, the Jasper Driver Services Center in Marion County will close on Friday, Sept. 20, and will reopen on Monday, Sept. 23.
The new self-service kiosks will allow customers to complete various Driver Services transactions such as renewing or replacing a Driver License or ID Card, changing an address, updating emergency contact information, advancing a Teen/Graduated Driver License, paying reinstatement fees, and requesting a license reissue after meeting reinstatement requirements. These kiosks will also support photo capture and payments via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit/debit cards.
