Man Sought for Questioning in Nashville Homicide

A man is wanted for questioning in a deadly robbery-related shooting in Nashville.

Homicide detectives are working to identify a man wanted for questioning in the September 1st fatal robbery-related shooting of Francisco Anx, 37, at 1019 Patricia Drive.

Anx and his friend were outside an apartment when they were approached by four suspects, described as black men, who demanded their belongings. When Anx resisted, one of the suspects shot him in the stomach. The suspects then shoved the second victim to the ground, threatening to kill him if he moved, and took his wallet, passport, ID, and cash before fleeing on foot. Anx was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died.

The man in the attached photos was seen after the murder in a BMW SUV at Mapco, 5001 Linbar Drive, and the following day at a Shell, 1110 Bell Road. He may frequent the Bell Road and Cane Ridge Road area.

Nashville Man Indicted for Firearms Offense

Erik Dewaun Williams, a 25-year-old from Nashville, has been indicted on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm after being apprehended by Metro Nashville Police following a 911 call and subsequent chase.
