Lane Closures and Construction in West Tennessee

Various lane closures will occur in West Tennessee for construction and maintenance from September 18-25, 2024.

From September 18 to 25, 2024, multiple daytime and nighttime lane closures are expected across various locations in West Tennessee, impacting 21 counties in Region 4. Here are the detailed updates by district and county:

**District 47**

**Benton County**

– I-40: Resurfacing from S.R. 69 (MM 126) to the Humphreys County line (Tennessee River Bridge) will cause nighttime temporary lane closures.

– SR 391: Resurfacing from US 70W (SR 1, LM 0.00) to US 70E (SR 1, LM 5.31) will cause temporary lane closures.

**Carroll County**

– SR-76 (US-79): Grading, drainage, noise walls, signals, and paving from near S.R. 77 (L.M. 1.89) to near Cutlip Lane (L.M. 7.29) will cause lane closures.

– Meadowbrook Lane will close starting September 16, 2024, with a detour provided.

**Dyer County**

– SR-20: Bridge repair on US 412 (SR 20) over the North Fork Forked Deer River will cause temporary lane closures.

– SR-211: Bridge inspection and evaluation over the North Fork Forked Deer River (south of Dyersburg) will cause outside lane closures beginning August 9, 2024.

– I-155: Resurfacing from the Mississippi River Bridge to near the Rest Area, including bridge expansion joint repairs, will cause temporary lane closures.

**Gibson/Carroll County**

– SR-76 (US-79): Grading, drainage, concrete box bridge construction, noise wall, and paving from west of Cades-Atwood Road in Gibson County to east of SR 77 in Carroll County will cause lane closures. Detours will be provided for affected roads.

**Henry/Weakley County**

– SR-22: Resurfacing with HOT IN-PLACE RECYCLING from the Carroll County Line in Henry County to SR 217 in Weakley County will cause lane closures.

**Obion County**

– SR-22: Resurfacing from SR-5 to SR-21, including bridge joint expansion repairs, will cause lane closures.

**District 48**

**Gibson and Crockett County**

– SR 152: Resurfacing from US 412 (SR 20) to US 70A (SR 366), including bridge repairs, will cause lane closures with one lane open at all times.

**Hardin County**

– SR 128 over Pickwick Dam: Bridge rehabilitation will cause lane closures with one lane open at all times.

**Haywood County**

– I-40: Nightly resurfacing work from MM 60 to 67 will cause lane closures from September 18 to October 2, 2024, both eastbound and westbound.

**Madison County (Non-TDOT Work)**

– I-40 Exit 85 Interchange and Christmasville Rd.: Possible shoulder closures starting September 9 for geotechnical work.

– US70 from Loves Truck stop to I-40: Temporary lane closures for resurfacing on September 25.

– SR152 to I-40 Westbound on-ramp (Exit 93): Ramp closure for resurfacing on September 26.

**District 49**

**Fayette County**

– SR-222: Grading, drainage, signals, and paving from Hebron Drive to near Thorpe Drive, including the I-40 interchange (Exit 42), will cause lane closures.

**Lauderdale County**

– US-51 (SR-3): Resurfacing work will cause lane closures between SR-88 and the Dyer County Line and from the Tipton County Line to SR-19.

– SR-19: Resurfacing work will cause lane closures.

– SR-371: Resurfacing from SR-87 (LM 0.00) to SR-87 (LM 4.85) will cause lane closures.

**Shelby County**

– I-240 at Exit 24: Ramp closures for vegetation removal on September 18 and 19.

– I-40 at Danny Thomas Blvd: Ramp closure for vegetation removal on September 20.

– SR-3: Nightly lane closures for resurfacing from Babe Howard Blvd to the Tipton County Line.

– SR-4: Nightly lane closures for roadway widening from South of Shelby Drive to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange.

– SR-14: Lane closures for widening from Kerrville-Rosemark Rd to the Tipton County Line.

– I-240 at Exit 23: Temporary lane closures for safety improvements until September 15, 2024.

– I-55/Crump: Various traffic pattern changes and restrictions effective September 29, 2022.

– SR-23 (Walnut Grove Rd): Nightly lane closures for resurfacing from Poplar Ave to I-240.

– US-51 (SR-3) at Kenwood Avenue: Temporary lane closures for safety improvements.
