Investigators Seek Hit and Run Driver from Sept 1 Incident

Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a hit and run on September 1 in Nashville.

Traffic Unit investigators are actively working to identify the driver involved in a hit and run incident that occurred on September 1 on Sabre Drive near Hewlett Drive. The crash resulted in injuries to a 33-year-old female pedestrian.

The woman was walking northbound on the residential road near her home at approximately 10 a.m. when she was struck by a vehicle, which surveillance images suggest was likely speeding. The injured pedestrian was subsequently transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with head and facial injuries.

The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a gray sedan, which will have damage to the passenger side mirror. Authorities are urging anyone who may have information regarding the vehicle or the driver to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
