FIFA has officially announced the 12 stadiums in the United States that will host the matches for the new FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The competition will feature the 32 best football clubs globally, vying for the title of FIFA Club World Champions. The tournament will commence on Sunday, June 15, 2025, and will culminate at the MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey, on Sunday, July 13, 2025. This venue is notably set to host the FIFA World Cup 26™ final the following year.
The other 11 stadiums set to host matches are Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Rose Bowl Stadium (Los Angeles), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville), Camping World Stadium (Orlando), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle), and Audi Field (Washington, D.C.).
FIFA President Gianni Infantino made the announcement at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, New York, where he also unveiled FIFA’s new four-year partnership with Global Citizen. This partnership aims to mobilize football fans worldwide to help end extreme poverty and provide educational opportunities for millions of children.
Infantino remarked, “Football is the most popular sport on the planet, and in 2025 a new era for club football will kick off when FIFA stages the greatest, most inclusive, and merit-based global club competition right here in the United States.” He emphasized the significance of the event, noting that it is the only global club competition that embodies true solidarity and inclusivity, allowing top clubs from Africa, Asia, Central and North America, and Oceania to compete against the powerhouses of Europe and South America.
With the tournament draw scheduled for December, only two of the 32 teams remain unconfirmed: one from South America and one representing the host country. Further details regarding the draw and the tournament match schedule will be announced shortly after the draw.
