Felon Arrested for Aggravated Rape on Houseboat

Tyree Watson arrested for aggravated rape, kidnapping, and assault on a houseboat.

Tyree Watson, a 42-year-old convicted felon, was arrested this morning on multiple felony charges. The charges include aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping, and aggravated assault following an incident that occurred over the weekend on his houseboat at Four Corners Marina on Lavergne Couchville Pike.

According to the victim, she was invited to a party by Watson at the marina dock on Friday night. Upon asking to use the restroom on Watson’s boat, she was allegedly led inside, where Watson locked the door. The victim reported that Watson threatened to kill her, strangled her, and then sexually assaulted her.

She managed to escape when Watson fell asleep and sought help from a dock worker. Watson is currently in jail with a bond set at $200,000.
