Driver Killed in Single Vehicle Crash on Stagner Road

A single vehicle crash on Stagner Road resulted in the death of a 28-year-old driver.

The driver of a Nissan Sentra who died in a single vehicle crash on Stagner Road, near Bidwell Road, has been identified as Adam Clinard, 28, of Madison. The incident occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. on Saturday.

According to preliminary investigations, the Sentra was traveling westbound at a high speed. The vehicle crossed into the opposite lane while navigating a curve, subsequently leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree.

Adam Clinard was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported no evidence of impairment at the crash site.

Man Critically Injured in Nashville I-40 Crash

Shondarrius Cook, 32, of Nashville, was critically injured in a single-vehicle roll over crash on I-40 near downtown Nashville early Tuesday morning. Cook lost control of his speeding car, causing it to crash and become airborne. After the crash, he attempted to flee on foot but was stopped by officers and taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Cook had three outstanding warrants at the time of the incident.
