CHATTANOOGA, TN – [Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024] – The Chattanooga Tourism Co. has introduced the Resident Sentiment Survey following the recent community-wide Tourism Sentiment Surveys. This survey allows Chattanooga residents to express their views on how tourism impacts their community.

Barry White, President and CEO of Chattanooga Tourism Co., emphasized the importance of resident feedback: “The feedback we receive from this survey will be crucial in shaping tourism strategies that truly reflect the values and needs of Chattanooga’s residents. This is your opportunity to tell us how tourism affects you and what changes you want to see in our community.”

Tourism significantly affects Chattanooga’s residents, and community input is essential for guiding its future. The survey includes questions such as:

– What aspects of tourism are most important to you?

– How does tourism impact your quality of life?

– What would you like tourism to look like in the future?

Your responses will help develop tourism strategies that enhance the quality of life for all residents.

The Tourism Co. encourages all residents to participate. As a thank you, one respondent will receive a package including a $100 Chattanooga dining gift card, Chattanooga merchandise, and tickets for four to over ten popular attractions.

The Business Tourism Sentiment Survey remains open for local business owners and managers. Business input is also crucial for shaping supportive tourism strategies. Share your thoughts HERE!

Survey results will be available in early 2025, providing insights for ongoing tourism planning and development. The Chattanooga Tourism Co. is committed to regularly collecting community feedback to ensure tourism strategies align with residents’ needs and values.
