6th Grader Arrested for School Threat at Dupont Tyler Middle School

A 6th grade student was arrested for making threats against Dupont Tyler Middle School.

An 11-year-old 6th grade student at Dupont Tyler Middle School was arrested today by the Rapid School Safety Team after making threats against the school. The student is charged with making a threat of mass violence.

According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD), threats against schools, special events, and businesses are taken very seriously. Individuals responsible for such threats, once identified, will be prosecuted.
