13-Year-Old Arrested for Making Threat to Middle School

A 13-year-old student was arrested for making threats against H.G. Hill Middle School.

The Rapid School Safety Team responded to H.G. Hill Middle School today following a threat made by an 8th-grade student. The 13-year-old was arrested shortly after admitting to making the verbal threat.

The teenager faces charges of making threats of violence against schools and false reporting of a threat.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) emphasizes that threats against schools, special events, and businesses are taken very seriously, and those found responsible will be prosecuted.

Nashville Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation

Alejandro Jarquin, 25, was arrested by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit on six counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, following tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children identifying him as the owner of Kik accounts used to share child sex abuse material.
