NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tickets are now on sale for the Tennessee Immigration and Refugee Rights Coalition’s (TIRRC) fourth annual InterNASHional Night Market, scheduled for Saturday, September 21 from 6 pm to 9 pm. This event, held at TIRRC’s headquarters in Antioch, aims to bring together the community to celebrate Nashville’s diverse cultures and culinary traditions.
This year’s InterNASHional Night Market will feature 25 food vendors and entrepreneurs from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. Previous vendors have included notable names such as 615Chutney, Island Vibes, Ginger Thai, Maemax Market, Pole-Pole, Sarabhas, and Street Injera. The 2024 lineup will be announced in the coming week.
The event will also feature dance performances and a mariachi band. Judith Clerjeune, Advocacy Director at TIRRC, expressed enthusiasm for the event, saying, “Nashville and Middle Tennessee are home to vibrant immigrant and refugee communities that bring with them incredible culinary traditions, and we’re excited to once again bring those traditions together under one roof during our InterNASHional Night Market.”
Tickets for the event are expected to sell out, and TIRRC encourages advance purchases. The Base Ticket Option is priced at $50, including six selections from any of the 25 local restaurants onsite. The Deluxe Ticket Option costs $120 and includes unlimited selections. Both ticket options come with free parking, shuttle service, and covered seating at the Eloisa Salazar Event Center. Tickets can be purchased here with all proceeds benefiting TIRRC. For those unable to attend, donations can be made anytime on the TIRRC website here.
The InterNASHional Night Market is supported by the Nissan Foundation. Media inquiries can be directed to hamp@tnimmigrant.org, including requests for interviews with the TIRRC team and participating vendors.
