Reporting Blocked Crossings and CSX Repairs

CSX announces temporary closure of railroad crossings for repairs.

CSX has announced temporary closures of several railroad crossings for necessary repairs. The intersections most affected are South Church St. and Middle Tennessee Blvd., NW Broad St. and Florence Rd., and West Main St. and Overall St.

Residents who encounter blocked crossings can report the issue by contacting the CSX Public Safety Coordination Center at (800)-232-0144. Additionally, blocked crossings can be reported to the TDOT Office of Rail Safety and Inspection at 1-800-465-9239 or 1-800-555-5555. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) collects this information to monitor the locations and impacts of blocked crossings. Reports can be submitted online at FRA Blocked Crossings.
