Register of Deeds Office to Temporarily Close for Construction

Register of Deeds Office will close from August 7 to August 9 due to construction.

The Nashville Davidson County Register of Deeds Office will be closed from Wednesday, August 7 through Friday, August 9 due to construction-related work. Register of Deeds Karen Johnson announced today that the office will reopen on Monday, August 12, 2024.

The construction work is necessary to install new air units for the building. Despite the temporary closure, e-recording services will remain available and uninterrupted.

“We are working diligently to open the entire space, and this time is necessary to ensure construction deadlines are met but to also ensure the safety of our customers,” Johnson said. “We expect to be back operational from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday during our regular business hours.”
