Driver Dies in Single Vehicle Crash on Clarksville Pike

A driver was killed in a single vehicle crash on Clarksville Pike near Kings Lane.

The driver of a Chevrolet HHR has died following a single vehicle crash that occurred today at 4 p.m. on Clarksville Pike near Kings Lane. The deceased has been identified as Quinton Puckett, 48.

Puckett was driving outbound on Clarksville Pike when, for reasons that remain unknown, he veered off the roadway, went down an embankment, and struck a tree. Emergency responders transported him to Skyline Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities reported that there were no signs of impairment at the scene.

Dump Truck Driver Charged After Fatal Crash

Nicholas Sterling, a 23-year-old dump truck driver from Ashland City, has been charged with vehicular homicide and vehicular assault following a crash on Charlotte Pike that resulted in the death of Kendall Cartwright and critically injured another passenger.
