NDOT Enhances Safety for Nashville School Zones
The Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) has completed safety enhancements in 15 school zones across the city to improve crossing visibility and reduce speeding, funded through the June 2023 Surplus Budget. Additional upgrades are planned for 37 more school zones, with the aim of enhancing safety near Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools on an ongoing basis.
