Adventure Science Center to Feature on Educational Show

Adventure Science Center will be highlighted on "Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan.

Nashville, TN, August 14 – On Friday, March 8, Adventure Science Center hosted the crew from “Empowered Hosted by Meg Ryan” to film a segment showcasing the center’s efforts in promoting science literacy among the younger generation. The show, known for its focus on educational content, aims to create new connections, innovations, and conversations that can transform lives.

The documentary segment is scheduled for distribution on August 26 across over 170 Public Television stations and will be available until August 2025. Additionally, a professional commercial featuring the center will air 50 times regionally in Nashville, Knoxville, and Memphis between August 7 and August 31. The commercial will be broadcast on networks such as CNN, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC, Fox News, Fox Business Network, TLC, Travel, and Discovery.

The segment will highlight Adventure Science Center’s impact on informal learning, the importance of inspiring young minds, and the center’s mission to make STEM accessible and engaging for all ages. Special guests featured in the segment include Leah Melber, Ph.D., President & CEO of Adventure Science Center, Dr. Adrienne Battle, Director of Metro Nashville Public Schools, and Pratishtha Singh, a TWISTER Volunteer and Technologist.
